When British Transport Police finally turned up they escorted Thurston away, but did not arrest him.

Citizen’s Arrested: Mark Thurston, CEO of Anglian Water held up for 1 hour this morning. 8 women confronted the water boss with evidence of his crimes and called the police. When they arrived 1 hour later they refused to handcuff him. Instead they escorted the CEO away, and let him walk free.
