City Council agenda update: The Flock camera agreement slated for tomorrow’s OKC City Council meeting is being deferred to a later date so City staff can make changes to the agreement.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 3, Main Street between Broadway Avenue and Robinson Avenue will temporarily close until Monday, Aug. 24. Access to the parking garages will be available from Broadway Avenue.

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 4, the south side of the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and NE 36th Street will temporarily close through Tuesday, Aug. 25, as ONG crews replace a high-pressure gas line. Detours will be marked.

After 35 years of service, Fire Chief Richard Kelley will retire Sept. 30. As the 21st Fire Chief in OKCFD history, he led the expansion to 38 stations and advanced firefighter safety, fire-based EMS, Whole Blood, MIH and the drone program. Thank you, Chief.
