Sometimes you're casually adding new sites to @civic.band and you add some city in #Massachusetts you've never heard of and then you've added 5000 more documents to the index 😂 The well of #CivicData is so deep and so wide and we've only started dipping our toes in.

I've realized that in order to solve some queue worker forking issues I'm having on #macOS, I need to move the civicband/clerk workers to a docker config. If you want to follow along with that journey, DM for an invite to our Zulip instance.

Well, it finally happened. We got an IP block from one of the hosting providers holding the PDFs that powers us. Now we get to figure out what to do about it. It would be easier if these sites published actual APIs with tokens and rate-limits, but that's part of what we're solving. #OpenData
