Pretty sure this means all the bugs in the backlog are fixed. Congratulations! 🎉
I literally cannot load my repo's Issues page, which... you know... is great as a Product Manager trying to follow up on bug reports.
Except when the excesses of the left lead to performative death.
The excesses of the left lead to performativity. The excesses of the right lead to death.
It’s concerning that the Attorney General doesn’t understand the difference between “moral” and “legal”
WELKER: How is Trump's pardons of 172 people who assaulted police officers consistent w/your pledge to always protect law enforcement? BLANCHE: The president's pardon powers are not limited W: But do you believe it was wrong to pardon those people? B: Absolutely not. That's the president's right
there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.
A better option would be to just hold all primaries on the same day…
Democrats on Saturday adopted a 2028 presidential primary schedule that moves states with sought-after diverse populations to the front of a calendar that will shape their party’s fight to win the White House. https://cnn.it/4gzYfqJ
The really galling part of this is knowing just how much Washington went to bat for his troops getting basic supplies during Valley Forge and Morristown. He generally stayed with his men in the field instead of living it up in fancy ballrooms.
And here is what the President of the United States is busy posting. George Washington would've smacked you in the back of the head.

You could pretty much go to any briefing and get this sort of answer.
These are the moments when Ron Howard doing Arrested Development style narration for real life would be handy.

If it’s one thing new parents of infants need it’s *checks notes* five times the number of pediatrician visits in the first year.
Trump: "At one year, you should have 5 separate visits for vaccines rather than getting them all in the same day. I've seen proof of where they have a vaccination thing that looks like the size of a bottle of soda and pour it into a little child's body."
This is embarrassing, @theatlantic.com
Privacy and civil-rights groups call the Flock Safety police cameras an Orwellian threat to the Fourth Amendment—but such cameras “can help make the criminal-justice system both fairer and less punitive—if we let them,” Charles Fain Lehman argues:
Yes, if there’s one thing @whstancil.bsky.social is known for it’s *checks notes* not being out there on the front lines of resisting tyranny.
“Facebook resistance moms” are out there doing the work instead of preaching to the choir. Confess THAT.
Imagine what Patton would do to someone who used bone spurs as an excuse to avoid combat.

Mike Elias should get fired. Out of a cannon. Into the Sun.
It's not even trading Rutschman per se, although that's not great. It's trading him to an in-division rival while he still has controllable years left. That's unforgiveable.
It’s like the secret ingredient in Iron Chef America except the secret ingredient is whatever he ran over on his way down to the studio that morning.

Jail/prison implies a level of legal legitimacy that these concentration camps don’t have and a level of due process that their victims generally haven’t received.
I love John Washington's work (have his books on my shelf), but I have to disagree somewhat here. I think there are specific ICE facilities which should get the "camp" moniker, but when the physical infrastructure of most detention sites are literal jails/prisons, I'm for calling them jails/prisons.
