Decided to try out the new HPI RWD drift chassis, the Stage D10. This is the creators edition, just a bare chassis and you can build with your own electronics/wheels/body/etc. Pretty cool that it comes fully assembled! I quickly changed a bunch of things haha. Excited to eventually try that out!
Finished up the last of the subflooring I planned on leveling and putting new osb down on. Can move onto rough framing the rooms on this side of the house and pushing forward with progress. 😄

First Folsom SF was a success! Spent 5 days with some very good friends, unlimited laughs, sights, good vibes and amazing food. Taking home many memories that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. 🥰🥰
Pretty crazy seeing this come together after literal years of planning, learning and researching. The circumstances kinda suck but I’m going to keep pushing myself until it’s complete. From blueprint to reality though, it’s an awesome thing to see.
Sometimes a project can be very overwhelming, feeling impossible at times. But every little win, every inch forward, is still progress. Keep going, it will be worth it at the end.

Went and saw the 4014 UP BigBoy as it passed through my home town this morning! What absolutely impressive machine! :D
Valve covers have been painted and cleaning + reassembly has started!
Got the Z’s VG engine as tore down as I’m gonna go for now. Took the valve covers off to give them a nice coat of silver to bring back that oe factory look. After those, reassembly can start!
Rainy day tomorrow, seems like a good time to start the cleaning process and power was this thing outside. 😂
Man it’s been a minute since I spent time in the garage for anything but immediate car repairs. Felt nice to put some time into the Z. Got the engine out and continued tearing it down.
I get to spend time with this really adorable guy all weekend 🥰🥰

I absolutely dispise Marketplace interactions. Wed: “$175 for all these parts, picked up on Friday?” “Sounds good” Thurs: “Still on for tomorrow?” -nothing, crickets, left on read. Fri: “Hey man, I only have $140, is that fine?” No. Go try that at any retailer, what do you think? 😑
