To my knowledge, before all this shit started happening, most sports leagues HAD a very basic HRT requirement for people joining gendered leagues! Because that's what fucking HRT does! That's the ENTIRE POINT, but then it's now "anyone trans at all is banned" like YOU ALREADY HAD A SOLUTION

I think a lot of the relative sticking power of the "sports" "debate" is that cis people straight up do not know what HRT actually does, on like a basic level. So many cis people I've spoken to seemingly assume that it's more akin to an antidepressant or something and not exogenous hormones

Transphobes always fall for this one simple trick: Name a single required condition for being a woman that exactly 100% of cis women meet, exactly 0% of trans women meet, exactly 0% of men (cis or trans) meet, and has exactly zero exceptions

two years ago, i was allowed to use the women's room at the airport no problem. now, the texas state government can fine the airport thousands of dollars if i use the women's bathroom.
