Steam Machine is an amazing bit of kit, as I theoretically have access to (almost) my entire PC games library, but I’m just playing hours of American Truck Simulator, while listening to audiobooks, as the novelty of being able to easily play it on the big telly in the lounge just doesn’t wear off.

I think my absolute favourite bit of every Summer Game Fest is when they get deep in the weeds with a run of absolute nothing burgers and the presenters have to keep pulling the “you ain’t seen nothing yet, please stick around. PLEASE.”
