Duke Energy is asking to raise rates, AGAIN! Duke & Piedmont are partners on the 2nd gas plant being built on Hyco Lake. It was added AFTER big industrial customers, including Microsoft, asked to connect to the electrical grid. Now Microsoft is coming to town... why are we paying for this again?

Deep River Data wants to power an AI data center by drilling for gas near Sanford. Sanford is considering how they might allow data centers.
