An update to our website. clickette.org

This isn't goodbye yet

Hey there,

If you're seeing this, you've probably noticed things look a little different around here. Here's what's going on:

A while back, we had to put our Zipline-based service into read-only mode due to abuse. Since then, we've been working on something better - Vault, a custom-built end-to-end encrypted replacement designed from the ground up to be more robust, secure, and easier to maintain.
The problem? Zipline has become a pain to host, and keeping it running just doesn't make sense anymore. So we're taking it down temporarily while we finish building Vault.

What this means for you:

Your existing file links will still work
The service is currently offline
We're actively developing Vault as the replacement
This is temporary - we'll be back once Vault is ready
ETA is unknown, but we're working on it

If you're missing anything or have concerns about your files, reach out to us at contact@clickette.org and we'll help you out.

We know this is inconvenient, and we appreciate your patience. We're building something better, and it'll be worth the wait.
Stay tuned.

— The Clickette team

P.S. Want to stay in the loop? Follow us on Bluesky at @clickette.org for updates on Vault's development.

Vault experiencing partial outage - Vault in read only mode indefinitely
May 16, 2025 at 11:49 AM
We have chosen to keep Vault in read-only mode, and this decision was not taken lightly. Work on our custom implementation will be accelerated. All files will still be available for download. We thank you for your patience.
