We are updating our Aims and Scope and wish to inform you that Climate and Development is principally a qualitative social science journal with an interdisciplinary audience. As such we are currently not considering any manuscripts with quantitative methods for peer review.

Authors: Please remember that we are a double blind journal. Therefore it is important to remove your names from the manuscript. If you leave it on the first page, it delays the review process because we need to go in and remove your name - this always involves several steps.

We are calling for new Associate Editors with expertise in social dimensions of climate change mitigation AND/OR urban adaptation. Please see our call below.

Journal editors - are you also receiving an increasing amount of manuscripts that are totally outside your disciplinary areas? I mean, not even close. We are getting on Music, Contemporary Dance, etc for a journal on climate change and development.
