I found the 1979 HP oscilloscope that I just picked up had the voltage switch set wrong. Both channels came to life when I corrected it. Only channel B worked when I first tried it. This means that the unobtanium y axis chip is good!

In 1996 I was talking to a database consultant at my work who had been working on the Cal ISO exchange. He was trying to explain how it would drop the price of power by 15%. I was like look man, whatever they're saying, it's not going to do that. Power is now about 3-4x what it cost then.
