BREAKING: Jem and the Holograms announce withdrawal from Ed Sheeran tour. "Silencing artists that speak up for oppressed peoples is truly, truly, truly outrageous," Jem said.

An illustration of Jem and the Holograms from the 80's cartoon "Jem and the Holograms," featuring Jem in the foreground singing into a wireless microphone and the rest of the band in the background playing their instruments.

Sy Snootles, a lanky alien with a round torso and trunk-like mouth serving as the vocalist.

Stopped updating my stuff on World Anvil for some time. Finally got back to it and... these updates. I can't navigate through my own work, I spend all my creative time figuring out how to access what I already wrote... Sucks. I'm looking at transferring it to Legend Keeper, we'll see how that goes.

Pathfinder 2e; Extinction Curse Session 1: Our PCs are a mime, a sword swallower, the circus doc, and a bulbous cactus leshy that's DEFINITELY just a little guy. Trying to convince some troublemakers to leave, Fergus (our leshy) max rolled a crit trying to poke one in the butt. Cue trauma!

"I know today we've all been brainwashed into believing EVERY player NEEDS one or more sets of their own cool dice, but... you don't...?" Wow, I thought Bob World Builder was a chill, unproblematic fella, but turns out he's a monster! #CancelBob

World building with ADHD is just a string of half formed paragraphs that stop when a new person, location, or concept is introduced... So... SO many article stubs in World Anvil...

V stopped after 2 wings and... you know what? I can respect that. He said hot/spicy food was not his thing and that he'd reached his limit. He didn't make a scene, he didn't fuss about it, he didn't feel compelled to power through anyway. Watching J-Hope and Jin suffer through was hilarious, tho 🤣

For over 4 decades, this snippet of a song has played in my head with only a vague impression that it was a gang of animated cats singing it. Just two lines: "Ali Baba, you may not know But tonight, we're gonna win!" I eventually just accepted it was some sort of fever dream, but today...

The DVD cover of the 1971 Toei animation "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves." The title and marketing information is printed in Katakan and Kanji (Japanese writing), the title is romanized to "Aribaba to yonjūnin no tōzoku."

The art style is defined by late 60s/early 70s Japanese animation, with large, round heads and big eyes and mouths and an almost "chibi-like" aesthetic.

It features Ali Baba as a shirtless boy wearing a turban as he rides a magic carpet with a cat and other cats dance below him, particularly a large, pink cat that features prominently on the right. Various other characters are illustrated, along with a green/gold lamp at the bottom center.
