Developers ask us how to make a game speedrunners will love. "Built for speedrunners" often reads as gimmicky. The key: replayability, mechanical depth, a low skill floor and a high skill ceiling. A timer and leaderboards are important incentives - but can't be the whole offering.

I'm sure some have seen the doc regarding the harassment situation in the BOTW/TOTK community. This is all I have to say publicly on the matter, but I'm doing fine and have a lot of good, supportive people in my corner. I'm far from the only one affected, & I'm just ready to move on after 1.5 years.

I had such a lovely time at SGDQ, it was so fun getting to see friends and support them from both the commentary couch and the audience. Ever grateful for the wonderful people I've met since joining the Zelda speedrun community!! 💚💚

WFM is a wonderful org and does amazing work here in MN. Their Immigrant Rapid Response Fund goes towards basic needs like food, housing, & health care, as well as legal help & general advocacy for families. Really glad to see our ICE Breaker fundraiser this weekend going towards them!
