Did you know that Blue Sky only has 20 full time employees? I think they’re doing a great job especially with the volume of accounts that are joining. I would say that without advertising the only way this platform is going to keep growing is if they have some sort of revenue. 1/2

What the big tech companies need to realize is that most game studios need to make at least 2 bad games before someone says “hey what if made that 1 good feature from game 2 into its own game?” and then it’s a successful studio.
My impression of Bluesky so far is that it's twitter with a mutually shared understanding to not engage in a set of behaviors that led to the twitter experience getting worse year over year - mostly related to avoiding dunking, negativity, and Takes. Overall vibe does feel similar to early twitter.
My Bluesky timeline rn feels like we’re all in kindergarten doing show and tell in the best way possible. No arguing, no drama, just “hello my name is ____ and look at what I made!”

The only thing that could make Bluesky better is if I could decorate my profile in custom colors and a background. I wanna go back to MySpace-core customization of social media.
