On Wednesday, I visited the future NineDot Energy site this morning in District 34, near Bushwick Houses, along the route where the North Brooklyn Pipeline was stopped after years of community advocacy. That fight was about protecting our communities. What comes next is about investing in them.

As we kick off the summer, we have two parks updates for you! First, the basketball court at Rodney Park North will be closed for the next two weeks as it receives some much needed renovations. Secondly, the sprinklers at Maria Hernandez have been fixed so that everyone can cool off this summer!
