CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS ARE YOU A RELATIVE OF A FOREIGN & COMMONWEALTH/NON-UK* VETERAN OR SERVING PERSONNEL IN THE UK MILITARY? I am a Brazilian researcher at Anglia Ruskin University, and I would like to speak to you about your experience of moving to the UK. HOW CAN YOU HELP ME? I am interested in hearing your story, what made you move to the UK, how your life in the new country has been, and your future plans. TELL YOUR STORY! Participants will be asked to participate in a one-to-one interview, lasting 30-60min and taking place in person (although online interviews can be arranged). WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Nationals of the Commonwealth, Ireland or Nepal, who moved to the UK with a family member who joined the Armed Forces. FOR MORE INFORMATION: Gabi Almeida Costa ga576@pgr.aru.ac.uk *The term ‘non-UK’ is compliant with the MOD’s current policy and does not reflect the researcher’s or the University’s view on the subject. This research has a decolonial approach and aims to critically analyse this term.
