Recently discovered that Pureref lets you place gifs onto your boards, letting you pause and scroll through the frames one by one. it even lets you open a whole panel showing each frame.

If you draw in a program that lacks proper reference board settings (like paint tool sai) i highly recommend using PureRef! It lets you save your ref images into boards and stays open on top of chosen programs. You can get it for free and donate later if you like the program! www.pureref.com
