Road and bridge closure alert: Concord Road at the Covered Bridge will be closed 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, to allow crews to safely perform maintenance on the Covered Bridge. The closure limits will extend from Covered Bridge Road to the Concord Road turnaround.

Work crews will close all lanes on Interstate 285 northbound and southbound between South Atlanta Road and Paces Ferry Road in the cities of Atlanta and Smyrna, Fulton County, this weekend 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10. All traffic approaching the closures will be detoured.
