Reflecting on yesterday's 'big day' and the past 20+ years as a foster dad, I was so proud to celebrate Long's big day with his birth family. I loved being able to stand on the staircase in old college with my sons and for him to have his brothers there to support him #FosterFamilies #Education
Proud Dad day. A few of my children have taken the university path. A small number are @edinburgh-uni.bsky.social alumni. Today was the first time that one of my children graduated from @morayhouse.bsky.social I could not be more proud of all that you’ve achieved son. He’s the third generation MH
In the run-up to the school's graduation on Friday, I thought I'd share yet another memory from my dad's time at the school in the 1940s and 50s. The @morayhouse.bsky.social school song (Sorry, he can't remember the tune) penned by the Head Teacher, Mr Mowat @edinburgh-uni.bsky.social

My Dad (Murray, not Moray - Think my Granny was keen) spent both his Primary & Secondary School years here (now Thomson's Land). During that time, student teachers would come over from the teaching college (Paterson's Land). Pics Thomson's Land, and 57/58 first XV Rugby team @morayhouse.bsky.social

Tough game, well done to Ireland ☘️… just a wee moan about the ref and the number of missed Irish offside play … ooft. Sinking a few of these and enjoying the balance of the games.
