Remember phone cards? Also Disneyland Paris tickets and room keys. Some of the card-sized items in my collection. I wish I could find more sheets to store them in. If you look closely, the third sheet is completely the wrong size and the cards wobble around. 😀

I delve too deeply into things that are pretty shallow. Despite my cosmopolitan pretenses, my entire life is situated between the Campine and Brussels. 🇧🇪🇪🇺🇺🇳 You can also find me at https://worldkey.io/@CobyCat
It's a fun exercise to recreate old "Tokyo Cop" Flash site in modern HTML. Probably a deep cut… but that's par for the course for me these days. I keep elaborating on niche nonsense nobody really cares about.😂 Gonna have to sneak a "not an endorsement of cops" disclaimer in there somewhere though!
A small status update for my website, plus a new article about some fads I recall. I've added @standard.site integration too, which is likely overkill for my small little website. 😀 I don't think I really understand it yet completely either.

I still wonder why this masterpiece has never gone “viral”. www.deviantart.com/dapperfish/a...

Okay, @eurosky.social may have lost the important political bigwigs to that W thing. But it's now got me, a random nobody from Belgium. 😎 #eurosky
#ReStory is pretty cool. Reminded me of that time I got my first SNES in 2014 or so, and had to open up the extremely dirty controllers to clean them. Cleaning is a lot more straightforward in this game though! store.steampowered.com/app/3812600/...

There's so much great stuff to be found in the newly uploaded archives of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. A commercial for Magic: The Gathering's Portal set, for example. #mtg
As I shared in my latest website update, this is my lil' Coby Cat character on @rpg.actor. I even edited the default sprite to give it a proper Coby Cat head: rpg.actor/cobycat.neocities.org Really interested to find out where this will all lead to! #rpgactor #atproto

You read the darndest things on the Disney Wiki on Fandom. For those who do not know Dutch and wish to avoid search engines, like whoever wrote this: "Niet Bekend" simply means "not known" in Dutch. As in, whatever Dutch source this got picked up from did not know the writer or singer. 😁
This is the first Warhammer product I've actually *bought*, thanks to a discount. It's a nice book, but dang, the empty box where the sprues used to be is so cumbersome. Has anyone managed to salvage this? I wonder if it could be cut out, and something new bound in its place. 🤔 #warhammer #40k
Definitely not the cleanest paint-job, exacerbated by taking a picture up close. Still, I experimented with damage, weathering, highlighting the edges here and there. Very happy with the dynamic pose too. #minipainting #40K
Glued together this "Primaris Dreadnought Redemptor" that had been sitting on my shelf. Not sure what paint scheme I should go for. The few space marines I had, I painted as Ultramarines. But I don't see myself assembling an entire army, so another legion is an option. 🤔 #warhammer #miniatures
I remember wanting a Zboard so much back in '07 or '08. The idea was that you had a customized keyset for each game, which you could swap out. In hindsight, they were kinda silly and very expensive, so it's good I never got one. At 5 euros, I couldn't say no to one at the flea market today though!
Ah, they finally arrived. My first boxes of #miniatures that aren't either preassembled or simply snap together. Looking to make some Angus McBride style orcs with the Goblins set. Unfortunately, the plastic cement I ordered to assemble these is still in transit! 😅
It's December 1st, so I can open the 1st day of the Mantic Barroom Brawl #adventcalendar. It seems to be the bar. Real nice! The plastic color means it can be used as-is. 2nd picture has a space marine for scale, who's obviously too big. I'll take a new picture once a miniature pops up. #miniatures
I managed to get my hands on the advent calendar I mentioned earlier. Really stoked! This is supposed to contain a few miniatures and terrain pieces, in addition to (presumably cardboard) tokens to play little board game. #miniatures #adventcalendar
I still had a Recruit Edition lying around. Having a lot of trouble doing the fine details with my smallest brush. Maybe I gotta invest in different brushes, maybe I gotta try toothpicks instead.🤔 Also, taking a picture with flash shows all the defects I didn't see IRL.😭 #minipainting #40K
Found this board game. Unfortunately the cover art seems to be the most exciting part of it.
I'm on the hunt for an #adventcalendar. Import duties and shipping fees are making the one I really wanted (Mantic Barroom Brawl) prohibitively expensive. I'm encountering a lot of weird stuff in my search for an alternative, which I'll be sharing for your enjoyment.
I love how the mini included with @thearmypainter.bsky.social's Wandering Monsters set says it's manufactured in Poland. This allows me to pretend I choose to buy EU products… even though it's really because in my experience The Army Painter has better and cheaper paints than a certain company. 😂
If I had a nickel for every time I encountered an EDM remix of religious music on a cartoon-themed electronic dance music CD, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I guess that next to the global village coffeehouse there's a prank shop? From Disney Adventures Volume 9 Issue 5 (1999).
Delving into Donald Duck's competitors for ads now. So, there was a Tom & Jerry magazine in 2001. And it's like… extra lazy. They just didn't color the old logo, left the outline, and slapped a new one on top of it.
Going through old Dutch Donald Duck magazines in search of neat ads. Apparently kids with asthma had their own magazine in 2001? Looks rad!
Nothing quite suits the vibe of the mid-century modern stone age as 1990s European dance music.
I can't believe they didn't name this "Play-Dolly" or "Play-Dohlly".
I'm glad that they specified these ghosts are paranormal, and not just normal ghosts.
Finally got a DVD I had been looking for, as my lovely assistant here demonstrates. Per the back it only has closed captions. Thanks to @techconnectify.bsky.social, I was prepared for this! Alas, despite checking with other DVDs that my player can decode them, there seem to be none on this disc. 🥲
