I 100% agree, but want to point out that pushing so hard back against trans kid's sports in public school rights (we have protections in my state) didn't help, as not even the left supports it with a majority. All other trans rights issues hit positively with the left except that one.

Should cisgender clinicians be prohibited from having any role in Trans+ healthcare? I believe there is a serious case for asking a much more fundamental question: Why shouldn’t Trans+ healthcare be led - and perhaps exclusively delivered - by Trans+ healthcare professionals and staff?

A handful of Dems, mostly either in deep red states or known to already be conservative, are taking bad positions on trans people - though still far better than their opponents. The party as a whole has still stayed strongly supportive.

While I support trans rights I am voting for Democrats no matter what. The choice is fascism or Democrats, that's it. You stand a better chance of convincing a Democrat to change their mind (Obama for example) than a fascist. Or we can keep heading the direction we are now if that's what you want.
