It's insane that a company can buy another company with loans, and then saddle the company they just bought with that loan debt. Potentially causing that company to collapse and fail, but not affecting the parent company. It makes no sense that this is allowed.

New thing I've been noticing at work is clients commenting on steps provided to them by Claude or Gemini or whatever. Obviously those steps didn't work or they wouldn't be contacting us, so it's weird when they cling to those AIs as preaching gospel.

Brief FFXIV EU Fanfest thoughts. Bastion is about what was expected, but not my style. Not really a fan of removing face marks, but its cool horns are tied to face shape. Don’t like auto path to quest at all. And too many things that are either JP Fanfest, or “8.1”. Collab raids are also just meh.

Taking care of a cat with kidney issues is a lot of work and can be quite expensive with all the extra supplements to keep her healthy. I'm lucky that I make enough to afford her care, but it's hard not to feel for those that can't. I wish there was a better way to keep our pets healthy.

Tried to draw @hannasartstudio.bsky.social 's Spike in a bamboo forest for artfight. I mostly just directly referenced her ref sheet and freehand drew the markings as practice. End up being a lesson in how hard it can be to do markings by eye.
Been spending way too much time messing around in Unity and Krita to customize a 3d kitty. It takes some serious skill to directly modify a texture file and have it look good.
Smoke is real bad out here. Stay indoors if you can, and wear a mask if you have to go out.
Makes me happy seeing so many likes for Mist dancing. Zibe did such a good job with that art. :)
Still a bit disappointed we didn’t get any blue colored wings for the Dawntrail Extreme mounts. We probably won’t get Wings as mounts again.
