(1) 📣 Shout out to Symbiota Support Hub (SSH)! SSH has been a GBIF #Node since 2022 and supports more than 1,900 biological collections using #Symbiota software to manage and publish Darwin Core-aligned data to GBIF. 💻

I just found my first digitized plant thanks to @bionomia.net!! I collected this tiny Peperomia a loooong time ago for my botany class 😍🌿. It's good to know at least one of my specimens was good enough for the collection 😆. www.gbif.org/occurrence/5... #ThankYouBionomia 💚

October has been full of #Symbiota adventures in South America 🌎💚. It started last week in Peru🇵🇪, where we held a digitization workshop in collaboration with UNMSM Natural History Museum and Yale Peabody Museum. Around 80 participants from all over the country attended. We had a blast! 🌿
