Meet Marshmallow-chan! (Real name Makoto.) A part-time college student. She’s very shy, socially awkward, and insecure about her physical appearance, but tries her best to push through her insecurities during service.

Meet Pudding-chan! (Real name Luna.) A disgruntled former J-pop idol, her sense of self-importance ensure that her vocal (and physical) presence enters the room before anyone else.

Meet Tart-chan! (Real name Ai.) Straightforward to a fault. Despite her (relatively) petite frame, her love of eating, bottomless appetite, and mischievousness knows no bounds. I made profiles for each cast member of the cafe with elements inspired by actual maid cafes.

The girls of Betty’s Big Girl Maid Cafe. I originally created them in late 2020, but it took me until 2024 to make this first render of them. (+ the lineup and some old sketches.)

In summer 2024, I also drew a few of the lifeguards at my local beaches.

I go out to my local beaches during the summer to do gesture drawing of people and the occasional portrait. Here are some I made back then.
