As a Mission Hill alumnus (it was my first animation job!) it’s awesome to see younger artists recognizing how cool these backgrounds were. Lauren MacMullan pushed hard for this comic look, and I believe Joseph Holt was the art director that executed the vision, though the whole art dept was great

#AEW friends: I’m drawing a lot of brawling for a project and I’m gonna sprinkle a bunch of wrestling moves throughout - give me suggestions! It’s a street fight among a lot of people so it’s gotta be relatively organic. Probably no 450 splashes, but I’ve already got a Death Valley driver going.
