Here’s the last of my cards for the Earth Guardian booster set, Bagaraatan. Another fragmentary dino I was unfamiliar with, it’s partly based on Eotyrannus & Alioramus. The colors are from JP Institute artwork by Tim Bradley, hence the similarity to the Ultimasaurus.

Here’s a better look at the Noasaurus artwork I shared earlier. Because so few bones have been found, I played with the anatomy a bit. Initially, it was thought to have a raptor-like toe claw (now a finger claw). I gave it a bit of a sickle claw, but based it on other noasaurs like Vespersaurus.

Here’s my next Jurassic Park TCG card, a dinosaur I had not heard of before: Qantassaurus. This fella’s known only from some jawbone fragments and is named after an Australian airline. Colors are based on JPI artwork done by Timothy Bradley.

I can finally share the art I did for the latest Jurassic Park Trading Card Game (TCG) set. This is maybe my favorite of the bunch: Segnosaurus! It was fun getting to work on a therizinosaur. This is based on its look in JP3: Park Builder (GBA), which in turn is based on artwork by Steve Kirk.

Twitter really got a kick out of these so I figure I’ll post them here too. Really been enjoying Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream so far and there’s still plenty more Miis and objects I want to make. I’m a massive sucker for games that let you make just about anything.

"This week our head controller was testing the time rovers and encountered major malfunctions on return. As a result of repeated issues with the coordinate locks and transport fields, The Dino Institute will be closing indefinitely. We thank you for your patronage and support."

It was brought to my attention that the page @ ingenttoday on Instagram made an AI edit of my JP Suchomimus as part of a popular post of theirs. They've used AI extensively for a while now, so I'm not surprised, but it feels shitty seeing my art get mangled in an attempt to "fix" it.

I made an edit of the TLW Arcade Raptor ripped by Ziggertron on Sketchfab to more closely match the animatronic. Really dig this style of split part models, may do more of these (either edits or made from scratch).

A JP-styled Psittacosaurus I did for fun. Ultimately, I think it looks better and more distinct with the quills even if they were only described after the first trilogy had wrapped (from what I can tell).

I'd been meaning to post more art here and it totally slipped my mind for a bit there. But, with Jurassic World Evolution 3 coming out soon (including a host of baby dinos & other animals) I figured I'd share more of the hypothetical baby JP/JW animal designs I did a while back.

A what-if depiction of a juvenile/subadult Tyrannosaurus based on the design from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. A size comparison between an adult animal, a baby, and an average adult man is also included. A what-if depiction of a baby Compsognathus based on the design from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. A size comparison between an adult animal and an average adult man's hand is also included. A what-if depiction of a baby Mosasaurus based on the design from Jurassic World. A size comparison between an adult animal and an average adult man is also included. A what-if depiction of baby Pteranodon & Geosternbergia based on the designs from Jurassic Park 3 and The Lost World: Jurassic Park respectively. A size comparison between an adult animals and an average adult man is also included.

Here's a quick T. rex stop motion test I did yesterday, with a puppet I've made. I wanted to animate more, but I bumped into the camera 🙄 The puppet is made of wire and foam for the body. The head is made of a 3D print skull by Vitamin Imagination, and the "skin" is just unbaked sculpey

Here's my take on the Rebirth Spinosaurus! I feel I've seen equal parts love and disdain for these guys, and frankly I'm with the latter. I don't love what I've seen so far, and being early attempts/more "modern" does not carry the design for me. Still much prefer JP3's.

An illustration of an alternate take on the Spinosaurus from Jurassic World: Rebirth, with the main differences being a more defined spinosaurine skull, a slimmer but still shortened neck, and spikes along the sail on the tail. With the final design not yet revealed, it's hard to confirm what else counts as a notable change.

Next up it's the Quetzalcoatlus. I've seen people say the Dominion look was perfectly fine and could've been used here again, and I generally agree with that. Though if they want to lean into the "wrong/unfinished" angle, I think some flashier head ornamentation might be nice.

I haven't talked much about Rebirth, but atm I'm not loving it. The series "reset" is odd and I don't love the creature designs on the whole. As someone immersed in the designs of this franchise, I feel that carries some weight and I wanted to share my takes on the new dinos.

An illustration of an alternate take on the "Titanosaurus" from the Jurassic World: Rebirth trailer, with the main differences being a bulkier neck, more emphasis on inflatable pouches near the head, and swapping the fish fins for sails/spikes.A closeup of the head of my redesign of the “Titanosaurus” from the Jurassic World: Rebirth trailer.
