Probably the first time I have only watched like 50% of the world cup games. Beside them being on in the middle of the night, there are the "hydration breaks", you can clearly see that a lot of players are tired after playing 60-70 games with their teams and now there is an even longer world cup. 🤷‍♂️

Looking forward to having @atila.io at ZurichJS Conf! Team lead of SolidStart, core contributor to @solidjs.com, OSS advocate💛, and Fullstack Engineer at Databricks. Atila is always looking beyond the code, exploring how we learn, collaborate, and build better experiences for developers and users.

We’re still smiling. Yesterday, ZurichJS won the @jsnation.gitnation.org Community Award 🥹. This award belongs to everyone who’s attended a meetup, given a talk, volunteered, sponsored, or helped make this community what it is. And somehow, we’re only 90 days away from ZurichJS Conf! See you there!

Overjoyed to welcome Tracy Lee to the conf! Before @angular.dev got widely used, Tracy was building the community around it. Angular GDE, member of the RxJS Core Team, co-founder of This Dot, mentor & investor, she spent years opening doors for developers & bringing people together. We can't wait!

Some are known for expertise, others for how they share it. @leichteckig.bsky.social is both. Through her writing, talks, and convos, she helped devs navigate testing, a11y, authentication, and web security. We're looking forward to having her at ZurichJS Conf, on stage and on the hallway track 💛.

Performance geeks, get your laptops ready ⚡️ We are very happy to welcome Matheus Albuquerque to Zurich Engineering Day on September 10th. From iOS & Swift to React internals and web performance, few people go as deep technically while making it genuinely inspiring to follow.

Observation as a tourist 👀 people in Korea are on the phone a lot when they are by themselves, but when they get into groups I have rarely seen people take out their phone at all. There is genuine interaction happening. Something I’ve seen decline in Europe in recent years. So great to see that 😍💪
