I really, really like reformer pilates. It feels like the laziest you can be while simultaneously working out really hard. Perfect for someone who hates that second thing.

I only ever used the bird app for news and anime. I'm trying really hard to make this a place I enjoy going that doesn't feel like doom and work obsessions. Any tips? Where do I starter pack, for instance? How do I avoid algorithm black holes?

I ask this every now and again, so here goes: I have a picky eater. No meat, no cheese, no fake meat, no seafood, doesn't love mushrooms or squash. WILL eat most veggies, spicy food, taco meat (only in tacos). We do a lot of raw food smorgasbords. Trying to avoid more pasta. Any ideas for dinner?

I'm reading The Black Tongued Thief via @patrickseitz.bsky.social rec, and it is the second book I've ever felt was written specifically for men. Like, it's really well written, I'm enjoying it. But I feel like I'm in a room where I don't quite belong. Same feeling as reading The Dark Tower series.

I started pilates fairly recently (only taken 25 classes) and I love it, but I'm also still in baby classes with older women. Every time I try to take a half step up my legs cease functioning for 2 full days. Does that go away? Or is the sore just something you live with and learn to enjoy?
