On the one hand I'm aggravated that she's not selecting a Democrat but in the other I recognize that she still has to navigate a voter registration disparity in which there are more independents than there are Dems .

I completely agree with the OP. A dead strip of grass because kids used that space as a waterslide is no better or worse or even different than a scalped infield because kids used that space to play baseball, softball and kickball. Just let the kids play and enjoy themselves.

The Free Market is designed to maximize the return in capital. Period. Nothing more & certainly not societal good. Advancing a societal good may at times be a strategy for maximizing return on capital, but ultimate goal of the Free Market is to maximize the return on capital above everything else.

Every Dem elected in Arizona should be doing this. Be out in front. Be present. Be accessible. This is how you shift the narrative and sway voters.

I don't know who the best candidate will be in 2028 but I am certain of the following: ~We have midterms to win in 2026 b/f we nominate a candidate for 2028. ~Bad actors will use every opportunity to divide us between now and the midterms & 2028. ~We must be very careful who we let influence us.
I've hated the LA Dodgers for years - long before it was suddenly trendy here.
Counterpoint: by most accounts people from around the world who traveled to U.S. for the world cup had a great time & were surprised most things they'd be spoon fed about Americans was crap & Americans were generally gracious hosts - bringing people together now is the single best thing we can do.

This ⬇️ is an excellent point and it applies to your insurance card as well. Keep a paper copy of your insurance card and do not give your digital insurance card, even though you may have access to it on the insurer's app, to a cop.

Do NOT let a cop have your unlocked phone, even just to show them the registration. Don't give them room for "plain view" sightings of private text notifications, emails, or lock-screen details.
Morris Katz is personally responsible for Graham Platner's candidacy with Daniel Moraff & Leanne Fan. Katz's firm Fight Agency made a boatload of money from Platner's campaign. To me, Katz's self-enrichment here is simply a maga-style grift at expense of Dems potentially turning this Senate seat.
