Colorado and Texas have taken very different approaches to personal freedoms - as in Colorado actually supports freedom. Colorado protects access to reproductive healthcare and recreational cannabis, while Texas has been going in the opposite direction.

This past Saturday, as we celebrated Colorado’s 150th birthday, the iconic Mile High Marker on the State Capitol’s west steps moved for the fourth time thanks to more precise surveying technology. Even after 150 years, science keeps helping us see our state in new ways! https://ow.ly/zfHf50ZvVPI

Today, skyrocketing homeowners insurance rates are making housing unaffordable for Coloradans, or forcing difficult choices to keep coverage. I’m working to save Coloradans $800 on homeowners insurance in 2027 by helping them harden their homes against hail.

Colorado is bear country. With increased bear activity this year, we’re investing $1 million in prevention, bear-resistant trash cans, and education to keep communities safe and bears wild. Coloradans can help by securing trash, removing bird feeders, and never feeding wildlife.
