I'm glad to live in a world where, with only a few lines of code, you can send end to end encrypted messages to someone's mobile device. Effectively 9 lines of code! Formatted for readability. Written in #Python and using a #Rust library under the hood.

I am of the firm believe that paywalled specifications do not promote interoperability in practice. Even if the specs promote interoperability themselves, the fact that they require payment to access the specs deters would-be adopters/hobbyists/enthusiasts from using the spec.

そうなんですよね。DID界隈のメッセージングって結構みんな悩んでまして…私も人づてに教えてもらったのですが、DIDComm MessagingはDMグループのような複数人同士のメッセージ交換用途で使おうとした際にパフォーマンス上の問題が指摘され、その解決に手間取っているのか仕様策定が2年ぐらい止まっているようです。エンプラの用途ですらATProtocolやNostrなんかが候補に上がってくる始末（さすがに新しすぎて様子見されてますが）なのでなかなか混沌としていますが、Blueskyには期待したいですね。
