It was from a parent who spent paragraphs gushing about how much their kid enjoyed not only Anthrocon, but Chris sitting and chatting with them, their performances, their humor, and their openness.
Some land just isn't fertile for planting and it's best to accept that instead of watering that dirt hoping for the best.
Still rubs me the wrong way that a community meet and greet is often used as a vehicle for some company to advertise product
Considering the activities are usually just shit like coloring and storytime I'd almost recommend ditching the so-called 'young at heart' panels for something labeled coloring and storytime... There's nothing adult happening there, and frankly it'd maybe keep product community vultures away too. :U
