If we want nice things, we can have them. But we will not get them by voting for politicians who are bought and sold by corporations — the same corporations who wrote the rules to rig the system against us.

Exactly this. The insurance companies are paying our politicians to continue to vote against our best interests. We need the people we put in power to be driven by us and our needs, not what's best for the insurance company and the politician's pockets.

We need to stand with survivors when they muster the courage to confront abusers with the consequences of their behavior. Swalwell, Gonzales, Mills, Trump. All of them should be expelled. Public servants should uplift and empower people rather than use their power to abuse them.
