To extend this one a bit, I don't judge folks for reading anything. I don't personally support authors whose views on human rights differ from my own. I do have trouble reading things I used to love after certain news came out. Aside from not wanting to support, It can completely re-color the work.

I can (but won't) name a whole list of authors who have said and done downright repugnant shit. I won't give them free press. Always remember that Libraries and second-hand stores exist for anyone you don't want to support.

Every page of this book is about pain. Frank is not a hero. He's not a role model. He's compelling, sad and damaged. The book is violent. I won't lie and say it doesn't look cool, but it's the kind of violence that reminds you of what that word truly means. #comicsky
