I’m a bit conflicted right now on how to spend my limited free time. I’m halfway through Silksong and loving it; but with Fortune’s Weave out I feel like I need to play that to be a part of the conversation of one of my favorite series. But if I take a break from Silksong I’m gonna get bad at it…

Okay, I’m sold on the Ocarina remake. I still think it was a weird move to first reveal this without really explaining what kind of remake it was. Seeing it motion now I’m really happy. It’s a keep-as-is-remake with changes to modernize, but also to capture the intent of the original devs. 🧵

I want a Spider-Man game with a daily schedule system like Persona, where you’re constantly either disappointing people in Peter’s life, or letting supervillains get away with dangerous crimes. Only then will a game truly capture the Spider-Man experience!

Reminder for this Double Nintendo Direct week! It’s okay for people to enjoy things, even if you’re not excited about them. It’s also okay for people to be pessimistic about things, even when you’re excited. Other people’s opinions are not necessarily an attack on your character.

I want you all to stick this in your memory, that Sony’s lawyers are saying on record that they don’t believe people own the digital games they buy. So next time an apologist is trying to call it hearsay, you can tell them that this was their official, legal stance in a court of law.

Sony says "reasonable consumers" know they don’t own the digital PlayStation games they buy. It argues that it's "not plausible" to suggest that when they buy a digital game they actually believe they're "obtaining ownership" of it. www.videogameschronicle.com/news/sony-sa...

I just noticed the box art for Mario Kart World has Goomba on it twice. I mean that’s not necessarily an error; there’s multiple Goombas in the world and online people can choose the same character… but that’s weird, right?
