Looksmaxxers trying to achieve “peak male” status are not Dolph Lundgren. None of them are going to rival a handsome chemical engineer with a sculpted body and literal genius intellect, but I truly feel they can achieve confidence and inner peace if they accept it like the rest of us did.
I didn’t voice act in it. I was actually going to play the guy I wrote, Barry Styles, but recording logistics fell apart. However, I’m immeasurably glad it didn’t work out because Nick Wolfhard did it a thousand times better than I ever could. I simply couldn’t hope to do what he did for Barry.

I still occasionally look up discussions about the work I did for @dateeverything.bsky.social and I’m always overwhelmed by what I see. Knowing a character I wrote made a player feel this way is an unbelievable thing to comprehend. I’ll be happy if what I’m writing now is even half as impactful.

I’ve had varying amounts of back pain since I was a teenager, apparently it was always just predisposed to having things pop out of it. In 2016, I moved some boxes in my office and a few days later I could barely dress myself, the pop having become a full-on herniated disc.

I tempered my expectations since this is the UK but it’s very good. Anyway I’ve barely touched my painkillers and my sleep schedule’s almost back to being perfect. I did forget about how nostalgic it makes me though. I spent far too long looking for a specific episode of Lovejoy.

I can’t get enough of Count Binface. As miserable as everything has become, a man with a bin for a head promising to build one affordable house is what I need in my news feed. That he’s made such a joke of Farage is just the cherry on top.
Just like they resent having to pay people to make their products, executive shit-spigots resent having to sell those products to us. If you look at the trajectory of videogame monetization, so much of it has been about establishing a direct line to our wallets. Money for nothing.

Companies love selling subscriptions while having the audacity to see anybody using one as a lost sale. They think you’re just getting stuff for free. It’s why services get worse over time. Executives want you to subscribe & still buy the things you subscribed for. They just want stuff for free.
It makes me happy to see Mike still putting inventive games out there. This one looks really cool, too.

Haha, that’s one of the dumbest AI Guy arguments I’ve heard. I was among the earliest adopters of the Internet. A lot of us who hate Regurgitative AI actually remember when the Internet was *good*, before the very companies poisoning it with AI carved it up into algorithm-controlled fiefdoms.

We bought a whole new computer in order to get online. We WANTED to use the internet. AI is shoved down our throats so much I'm having to actively avoid it everywhere I turn!
