Not surprising but still disappointing We were among the thousands of Texans who showed up at the Capitol repeatedly to protest a map we believed to be blatantly discriminatory A federal district court agreed with us - and a SCOTUS who prioritized the rule of law over politics would have as well
JUST IN — SCOTUS has decided that Texas can proceed with their gerrymandered, mid-decade maps. These maps failed to meet our fairness criteria because they hurt the people's voting power. Join us in telling SCOTUS: elections belong to the people, not politicians.
