Thanks to all the fantastic community groups who came to the launch of our Connect & Collaborate programme last month. We heard from people supporting homeless people in Canning Town, building community for older gay people across the borough, helping young people in mental distress, and much more.

1 in 50 Londoners are currently living in temporary accommodation. Many without a kitchen, washing machine, or Wi-Fi, for months and often years. With every borough going to election in May, there's a real opportunity to push for change. It’s time to Fix the Five Basics.

The festival supports our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our older residents, while also tackling health inequalities. For more information 👇 AgeingWell@newham.gov.uk 📧 020 3373 0731 📞 www.newham.gov.uk/ageingwellfestival 💻
