The Centre for Computing History is much more than a museum. Based in Cambridge, it hosts hands-on exhibitions, a wide range of activities and events, has a small shop and runs a learning programme.

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jamie Urquhart. We were honoured to welcome Jamie to our ARM1 at 40 celebrations last year. Here he reflects on his early interest in electronics. Our thoughts remain with his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A brilliant day at our Copy That Floppy event last month! 💾 We preserved data from old floppy disks, (including 8-inch floppies!), using the Greaseweazle to connect vintage drives to modern PCs. Thanks to our amazing volunteers and everyone who came along, can't wait for the next one! 😄
