There's a bnr window later this month and I want to make a case for major changes to the Modern format. More than ever I'm seeing people disengage with Magic and I think this is in no small part due to how unfun current Modern (the premier comp format) is. 1/4
2-2 drop in the Vintage Qualifier w Mono White 4-2 in the challenge w/ UB Frog Lurrus Playing Vintage has been awesome, i’m glad it’s finally clicked for me. Jewel Shops reads to me as the best deck but idk how to pilot/sb with it yet.

5-0 with UB Lurrus w/time vault combo Would probably change some cards, not sure some of the value stuff like gifts/yawg’s will are necessary. Nihil spellbomb seems superior to Soul Guide Vintage has been so much fun. My love for magic is rekindled, Modern is dead to me.

5-0 with UB Lurrus! Been playing a ton of Vintage recently and it’s been a blast I decided i’m not going to LA and have felt at peace w putting Modern down This deck has taught me that Vintage is actually a p slow format. FoW is so important as the cards get more powerful
Looking at the data from Balt and ppl’s Ponza lists for the Eldrazi Match-Ups… I believe I have the best plan. The Eldrazi decks are the main concern for playing Ponza imo, my plan doesn’t solve the MU but it definitely improves it, making it winnable Check my guide 4 details

I landed on Jeskai Energy for Baltimore. I think it’s a solid choice based on how the meta is moving. I think the blue cards are really strong and help address some of the problems energy has had post-phlage. See you tomorrow gamers! 🫡

5-0 with Ponza! Locking it in for Dallas, this is the first time I’ve felt confident in Modern in a while. Can you guess what the Totems are for? (Not Druid!) As of right now this is my frontrunner for the Baltimore too and I’ll try to put out a guide after the weekend 1/2
I played Ponza in both of the Showcases this weekend and had a blast! 3-4 drop in Modern and 5-3 in Pioneer. Deck’s much better in Pioneer, format inexperience cost me and the list is still a work in progress. I like my Modern list, but I need a better plan for kcommand decks
Alright time to vent. I’ve decided that after this season I will no longer compete during Modern seasons. I look to pick up another tcg or move on w my life. This description of Neoform from the most recent bnr could be a description of the Modern format as a whole

The last of my Rengoku tokens for Storm have arrived If you haven’t seen Demon Slayer yet you’re fucking up. It’s the dbz/yuyu hakusho of this generation, a goated action anime. The most recent movie gives me goosebumps it’s so good
I will say that a cool thing about UB is that it has motivated me to familiarize myself with the IP of an upcoming set. I’ve never read the Hobbit so now here I am. I had also never seen Avatar or much Tmnt content. Exploring these things has honestly been pretty fun.
Won an rcq with Cosmogoyf Fling This deck is by far my favorite thing to do in Modern and it has way more complexity and play to it than most ppl give it credit for Magic is such a beautiful game cause deranged decks like this can exist :) See ya and LA and Balt! ✨
4-3 in today’s challenge w Cosmogoyf I have 2 builds of this deck and this is my other one. I’m worried about the uptick in UB mid decks which are a rly bad MU, i don’t think this is the answer tho C.Annex is nice to have cleaner swaps against decks where pact is bad
