New here. Looking for horror communities and friends. Universal monsters forever #kaiju #horrormovies

#watched NIGHT OF THE DAMNED (1971) A journalist and his wife visit a dying friend at his castle and soon find themselves ensnared in occult rituals and human sacrifice. The budgetary constraints are evident, but the surprisingly explicit eroticism ought to keep most viewers engaged.

The artwork for the theatrical poster of 1971's Night of the Damned shows the film's lead actress, Patrizia Viotti, screaming while a collage of skeletal faces surrounds her.

#watched A HEN IN THE WIND (1948) With her husband off fighting the war, a poverty stricken woman becomes a prostitute to pay her unwell son's hospital bills then struggles to live with the shame. Japanese postwar dramas walk softly but punch hard.

I'm not sure when or where the DVD was released, but, at any rate, the image shows DVD cover art for Yasujiro Ozu's 1948 post-war drama, A Hen in the Wind. The top half of the art shows a still from the film of star Kinuyo Tanaka kneeling with her arms wrapped around a man's legs, begging for forgiveness. The half features a photo of the director.
