Still want to hear why my new obsession wouldn't be constitutional: An ethics board with the power to investigate *and remove* judges (and justices) for wrongdoing. The Constitution says judges keep their offices "during good behavior". It doesn't say impeachment is the only way to enforce that.

Whether or not you’re running for Congress and trying to seem rugged (and you probably should run, because, look who’s out there) what did your grandpas do for a living?

I’d guess I’m more conservative than the median Blueskyer. Facebook seems to have picked up on that and now my feed there includes a smattering of racists and antisemites. It’s telling and sad that their algorithm codes conservative as racist.

I got a lot out of Scouting, and both my son and daughter are Eagle Scouts. I’m a current volunteer. Today I’m really disappointed in Scouting America.

With Unitary Executive Theory, I’d argue the Executive cannot sue itself. Any suit would have to wait for Trump to leave office.

New: Broadview, IL Mayor Katrina Thompson issued an executive order today - her first this year - limiting protest outside the Broadview ICE facility to between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. The order cites "recent escalation of violence by ICE" at the facility as reason to restrict protest there.
