Yes, she has a criminal record. Yes, it was from before she got filthy rich.

"Yeah, as I said, wouldn't recognize talent if it hit her in the face! But don't worry. You ain't gonna get that with me."

"She didn't care about talent, she only saw me as a woman on the verge of desperately needing to retired, because of how often I got hurt and fumbled recently...but me being me...I didn't really wanna accept that. Roarball is my life, I didn't wanna give it up. All she did was taunt me."

"Not too up to date on that I gotta admit. I only heard about the drama with that ugly-ass warthog manager of yours. Dumb bitch couldn't recognize talent when it stood right before her. Serves her right. People who can't make good decisions should be rooted out as soon as possible..."

"Like I said, it's a special place for one of my teammates. Will Harris. Y'know, the little goat that plays for the Thorns? He showed me this place. Plus, they're a big fan of me-" Pointing to framed articles on the walls, even her high school jersey framed on the wall as well.

"You chose well. This place got good food. Say, how did you find it tho? This doesn't exactly look like the type of neighbourhood a Star like you would frequently go through...or ever."

She took a few more bites of her sandwich and swallowed, giving the other a nod. "Sounds good. Pizza looks great-"

Maria also wasted no time digging into her pizza. "If you still want to eat something after the sandwich, I'm sure at least one slice will be left after I'm full."

"Yeah...guess you're right about that." Eventually their food came, and Jett was eager to get a bite out of her sandwich...which she did.

She already sounded like most of Maria models after she gets to them with her diet mantras. "Given how much you work out, I don't see you gaining weight in any negative capacity. Ever. Don't forget to treat yourself when you feel like you really deserve it."

"Mm...humble, maybe." She sat back and relaxed as the waitress took their menus and went to put in their order. "Mostly just tryna keep a good diet."

"Humble one, huh? Let's see, what do we have here... I'll take the pizza mafia."

Jett too had been looking through the menu. "Gonna just go with a sandwich...nothin' too big-"

"Hm, hmhm, granted, true." Takes the menu. "Let's see..." Her eyes darted over the options.

"Well, believe it or not, this place is actually pretty damn special to me and another one of my teammates. Plus, it's nice and quiet here." She takes a seat in one of the open booths.

"Oh, you charmer~" Elegantly slipping into the diner. "Say, this place must have some really good food if YOU frequent it. Normally stars like you hog all the 5 star restaurants in town..."

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

"Speaking facts right now-" Immediately hopping out as they arrive at the diner. She's making her way inside, even holding the door open for Maria.

"Anyways, we're here. Let's put that thought on the back burner and fill our stomachs instead." Hopping out, eyeing up the place.

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

"...Right, I'll keep that in mind-" Thinking about it now, not the most pleasant thing for her. For the time being, she only really thought about grabbing a bite to eat. She hadn't had much to eat as it is anyway.

"Well, you got my card, so if you're ever in the mood to put on some kinky stuff and/or show some skin, hit me up and I'll have everything at the ready lickety split." The limousine was nearing it's destination...

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

"I never go for that myself, but I'll still consider it sometime at least." She flashed a smile.

"Yes, you did, but never for adult fashion I wager. Most stars of your caliber are too afraid to go for sex appeal..."

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

"Modeling? Hm...I've done my share of photo shoots before, so I wouldn't mind doing that sometime-" Accepting the drink and the business card, tucking it away. She took a sip of her drink. "Thanks-"

"Oh, already considering me a friend I see?! Well then, allow me to return the favour~" Pouring her a drink with one hand, while pulling her business card out of her cleavage with the other. "Here. If you ever are up for some modeling. I pay quite well, especially for close associates~"

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

Jett chuckled and laid back into her seat. She didn't mind it too much, even though she keeps her penthouse nice and clean as it should be. "Could be worse...but sure. I could use a drink. It's nice havin' someone new to hang with."

"Excuse the clutter, truth be told, I came here on a whim, otherwise I would've made the damn thing a bit more..." Casually throwing a few latex suits under the seats. "...presentable!" In the same motion, she pulled a big bottle of champagne out. "Drinks? Or saving your thirst for the meal?"

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

She followed Maria to the luxurious limousine, and assuming she'd be allowed in, made herself comfortable. "Damn fine ride you got here."

"Certainly." She signaled her to follow, walking the short trip to the almost empty parking lot. Aside from her limousine, a few RVs stood there, one even having the smell of fresh lunch seeping out of its tilted window. But Maria ignored it, instead just waiting at her limousine for Jet.

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

"You get it, girl! Anyway, should we get goin' or what?"

"Hm, yes, yes, you athletes have much more healthy ways of maintaining your bodies than the fashion world. Forces them to bend over backwards for YOUR fit, not the other way around. Some of my models would envy you for that. Their routines are more brutal than any sport could ever wish to be."

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

"By foot. Always pays off to do my jogging to stay on my toes, if you catch my drift-"

"Alright then. Did you come here with your car or on foot? If it's the latter, we can just take my limo there."

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

"Hm..." Jett takes her hand and shakes it, nodding her head with a smile. "You sound like a big deal, Maria. Tell you what, if you're serious about grabbin' a bite, I'll do it. Vineland's best diner will do it. A star to another star."

"You could call it that, yes. I am Maria O'Connor. Yes, THE Maria O'Connor who owns the countries biggest adult fashion brand. Can't blame you if ya haven't heard of me, given how much the media tries to ignore my existence." Offering her hand. "Pleasure to meet another legend I the flesh~"

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

Jett nearly jumped, spotting the other. "You know, I usually appreciate not being disturbed when I'm practicing...who are you, a fan? A fan who must really want to treat me to my big win, I'm guessing?"

Casually strolling in. "Figured I'd run into you here. Still shooting hoops after the show is already over? You're supposed to take this time to wind down, Ms. Fillmore. Like, workaholic much? I originally came here just to congratulate you on that recent victory, but now, I'm feeling generous~ +

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

Jett of course has no knowledge of what she might be running into. With her nearly running into retirement from roarball, and occasionally being in denial of accepting that, she'll keep trying to play. But now she's in the empty Thorns stadium, practicing shooting hoops as per usual.

So if Maria were to visit all possible courts in reach, she was bound to run into Jett. Good. Time to bounce then. Calling her chauffeur, Maria prepared herself to lay the foundation of a new potential soul to add to her arsenal...

🏀 ˖ ⋮ 𝙹𝚎𝚝𝚝 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱@thornyfillmore3.bsky.social · 2mo ago

With the roarball season over, but the next one to come up soon, Jett has more time on her hands than usual, aside from all the practicing she does...and the practicing she'll be doing now on the courts. Still does it by herself for the most part.

Yes, a free wish would already sound sketchy probably. Regardless, patience is a virtue. Maybe all it needs is the right time and place. Until then, simply getting a foot in the door will be sufficient. She was currently sitting on her bed, looking up what's next on the agenda for the feline...

She knows a lot better. It'd take a lot of convincing. VERY hard convincing to get any contract with someone like Jett Fillmore.

She would love to forge up a contract with @thornyfillmore3.bsky.social, but in light of recent events, she ain't even gonna try. Kitten probably knows better now thanks to that fucking Warthog...
