The most pleasant place to be is in my car. But as the owner of three big, and three small internal combustion engines I am also the reason WHY THE AIRCONDITIONED CAR IS THE MOST PLEASANT PLACE TO BE.

Arrived in work. Sat down. Opened email. Want to set the world on fire. Work-paid medical appointment now. And I am reminded I have a fuck ton of holidays and why not use them for mental health days?

I married a protestant and my dad got him a signed Gerry Adams photo and signed Ian Paisley photo for his 40th. At work they swap his yellow hi-vis for an orange one on July 12th. The food is good at family gatherings, though. I'll give him that.

I was like "I got a gift card from work. Let's see what on my list of things-I-want-not-need I can get." Then I remembered I live in Ireland and for some fucking reason electronics are EXPENSIVE. I might drive to The North.

Dog woke me at 0530. Cats have been knocking a plastic ball against the kitchen door for half an hour. And I drank *a lot* of mead last night. Good morning.

We don't have a bin-service here. So everything gets sorted for recycling. With domestic waste as well. That means a lot of plastic and cardboard. So I am researching domestic cardboard balers. Which do not appear to be a thing. :(

I just saw the graph of the house temps these last few days. It is not dumping the heat over night at all. It goes up to X. The overnight is X-3°c approx, but the next day is X+4°c. The graph looks like a slightly wonky staircase. 😫

Don't know who needs to hear this but office AC doesn't work if you open the windows. It's hot *because* you opened the window. There's only so many temperature sensors a room can have.

I really dislike the summer. I can't be in my studio at all as it's south facing and insulated to fuck. 33c in here today. So I'm posting this and turning off everything that produces heat and retreating to the sofa. Giant orb in the sky can fuck offfffffff.

Moderator on our Townland Facebook group had a rant. It was a tough read. Don't know how they got feuturs from future. But they must have wrestled with autocorrect for that. Anyway, just saying, that there is a digital literacy AND a creative writing class being held in the village hall.
