The DeLorean was missing the original radio when I bought it. I installed this MP3/CD player about 15 years ago. I have a new retro style radio with more features but no CD. I'm kinda on the fence about it. 🤷

I'm a cat and sometimes a wolf. I'm also the Fender fursuiter for Fur Affinity. I like making online content on just about anything. I'm into collecting music, movies, retro games and synthesizers. I also collect and restore classic cars. Single, meow!
Kinda sorta getting ready for Furrydelphia. It just feels weird getting ready to go to con that isn't far away. I only live an hour and a half away.
Ok I finally got the DeLorean out today. Lots of thumbs ups and waves. Somebody drove by waving a back to the future t shirt out the window ha ha.
All cleaned up and nowhere to go. I've been meaning to take it out and give it a good run but Friday isn't good. Everybody coming down to the shore, the traffic is going to be nuts.
The rear window on a DeLorean is such a pain in the ass to clean. You have to be a contortionist to reach the whole thing.
Laying in bed, trying to fall asleep and all I can think about is how amazing a glass of chocolate milk would be right now.
Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam or Alice In Chains.

I got the honey chipotle crispy chicken sandwich at Chili's. It was massive. Didn't have anything on it aside from some pickles but it was really really good. Price was ok but the 1 beer I got kinda killed the value of the meal. With tip it was like $30 so still expensive. Ugh!
Ok it's been years since I've been to Chili's. I've heard they've turned things around. Let's see. The place is packed. 🤔
My hair is at that perfect length where it constantly falls into my eyes and makes them itchy. Its that moment, do I get a haircut or let it keep going so it gets long enough where I can just flip it back and it stays. Ahh so annoying!
I was just watching an old film from 1958 about soldering. Guy applying for the job, oh you drove a truck and have an interest in ham radio? Great! You're hired. We'll show you how to use a soldering iron and you'll make parts for fucking rockets.
I've worked in retail, IT, electrical, construction, forklift certified and a bunch of hobbies that I taught myself in body repair, painting, upholstery, electronic repair. I fix computers, stereos, vending machines, arcade machines. Yet it's just pissing in the wind to try to find a job.
Did a coolant system flush on the MGB. OMG the crud that came out that thing. It looked like carrot juice. Filled it with water and drove it around for about 10 min. Later when it cools down, I'll drain that and put new coolant back in.
When Oliver and Company came out, it was kind of a big deal for me. youtube.com/shorts/pAqrb...

Damnit! Now the Miata has the check engine light on. P0128 coolant below regulating temperature. It gets to temp eventually but not fast enough. Thermostat must be sticking. Miata is jealous I've been working on the MGB.
New ignition installed in the MGB. Thank you past me for not actually shearing the shear bolts when I installed the last ignition 11 years ago. 🙏
MGB is almost ready to be back on the road. Clutch and brake hydraulics are all bled. Did an oil change, new fuel filter and new battery. All need to do is change the faulty ignition switch but of course it's going to start raining now.
The brake gods have been kind to me. I was able to open all the bleeder screws without rounding or snapping any of them off on the MGB.
Refurbished pedal box is back in the MGB. The two banjo fittings in the back were a huge pain in the ass to get everything to line back up with the hard lines. I'll bleed everything tomorrow. I'm so beat. This job was bastard.
Good thing I checked the shop manual to double check everything. Just because a part came out a certain way doesn't mean it was done right the last time.
At some point the previous owner was messing around with the pedal box in my MGB. The pedal spacers and washers are all in the wrong spots. Wrong bolts holding in the brake and clutch master cylinders. Missing and bolts holding the pedal box to the firewall. Also all the weatherseals are gone. 🙄
Working on my MG, having tea. I do feel better and it has gotten my mind off things.
The rest of the parts came in for my MGB. I can finally start putting things back together. Like brand new again.
Thanks everyone for the condolences for my cat yesterday. I think I need a couple more days offline and I'll be good. I'll be back soon. ❤️
