Law Boxing Club was a council hall facing closure. The community took it over, and today it runs boxing, a choir, a recovery group for former drug users, and Upper Cuts: a barbershop the club opened because barbers are often where men in crisis actually talk to someone.

Fans are the heart and soul of every club. The loyalty, the culture, the identity passed down generations. Yet across British sport, clubs are owned by hedge funds and private equity. Our new report says it doesn't have to be this way.
