Have you ever tried to publish a extension for Chromium? It's hell. Google wants you to pay them money so you can attach your users to their browser and Microsoft, while giving free access to developers, keeps thinking something is "odd" and locks me out of my account due to "unusual activity". lol

The moment when you realize how old you actually are and how short the time feels, when you think about your friends. Like, 20 years ago I was 14 and I congratulated a online friend to his first job. Now, He celebrated his 20th anniversary at his company and I just realized: I AM OLD.

My parents, born in the GDR, where promised a retirement as incentive to not pursue their (in the GDR) learned job and instead accept the next best job after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Now politics want to cut the retirement pay so people keep working even in retirement.

You don't need to be an innovater in a emerging technology. But you should be an early-adopter: Try, test and find ways to implement new technology into your workflow.

This year it will be 20 years that I registered my first username, 19 years since I've started programming. What a journey. Crazy how much the technology changed. I've witnessed technological changes and even shaped some of them. I am thankful for the journey and am curious about it's future.

I can't complain about the higher prices for computer parts. Finally the prices are moving towards their real values, instead of dumping prices to flush markets. Even tho my wallet is shedding a tear everytime I look for spare parts (single tear emoticon).

It's 2026 and the ones we voted still surveil us, instead of us forcing them to be transparent. Everything as always, nothing to see, move along.

Funny how in the german language the em-dash (Geviertstrich, —) is exclusively and still extremely untypically used for lists, yet since the surge of LLM Chatbots, I see hundreds of german articles each week that use — in the middle of text. The em-dash is NEVER used in text. At least read through!
