❤️ Not-for-profit advocacy and support group for sex workers/survivors rights in Ottawa, ON. ❤️ Run BY and FOR sex workers! 🌿 Nothing about us, without us. 🌿 CORASFOUNDATION.ORG
March with us at Ottawa Pride! So excited to be there this year 💕
Supporting local grassroots initiatives and taking our pants off onstage to “immerse everyone in a brothel backrooms experience”
One of the biggest things this work has taught us is this: The people with the least will so often give you the most. A sex worker sleeping in her car will spend hours, days, helping someone else find housing. Someone struggling to make rent will give up what little food they have to share a meal.
Our art classes will run through until September. 💕 We also pay for childcare and travel costs as needed (and as funding allows) so that nobody has to feel left out of these opportunities to heal and find community. Please reach out if this interests you!
Art class tomorrow will be held outdoors again given the weather, please bring appropriate clothing and footwear! We will be by the river again and you may absolutely swim if you’d like. 💕 Our topics recently have been the practice of unburdening, and healing in nature. 🥰
As a SWer-led organization, visibility is one of our biggest challenges.* If you're unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser with your network makes a tremendous difference. THANK YOU for standing with CORAS. ❤️
Art healing is going amazing, this week we drew ourselves as the animal we most identify with, and then partner up, chat a little and draw our partner as an animal as well 🥰🙏 Then a little nature walk by the river to end the evening, since it was such a beautiful day! ☀️
We’ve had a surprising amount of interest- SO we will try to find spots for applicants even if this specific position doesn’t work out! 🥰 Please get your applications in by 5pm this Wednesday, June 21st!
CORAS is seeking a new Board Member to help us connect with allies, strengthen community relations, and support fundraising efforts. If you're the type who isn't afraid to send the email, make that phone call, pound pavement, or advocate for those who need it most, we'd love to hear from you. 💞

CORAS is growing, and we could really use your help. 🩵💙 As our client base grows and the need for support increases- especially with the heat and the rising cost of living- so do our operational costs. We're working hard to expand our services, but we can't do it without our community behind us.
Had a magnificent time at the Taste of Irelands garden party at the Embassy of Ireland’s residence. We are delighted to support such a wonderful cause ❤️
URGENT please share- is anyone in VANCOUVER (“sunshine coast” or in metro van) BC able to offer crisis support to a homeless, disabled elderly sex worker tonight? We are worried but we cannot do much from Ontario, and do not know the city’s supports well. Please reach out if you can help
Join us June 23rd for Trauma-Informed Leadership and Sustainable Movements, an interactive workshop exploring over-pathologization in social care settings.

Vanier businesses in Ottawa, ON- we’re looking around and hoping to share a very small office space! Even a closet works ❤️ Please reach out if you’re able to rent us a space/have any leads. Our email is on our website!
Hi all ! We’re having our spring clothing swap again. Traditionally it’s bring clothes to “swap”, but we have plenty of clothes on offer so don’t feel obligated to bring any (but if you do have some to bring please do)!
Porn is not inherently evil. Exploiting vulnerable groups is evil. Wanna know how to fix porn, puritans? Pay/encourage people to pay adult creators as directly as you can/as they offer. Paying adult creators/feminist led companies for porn is ethical and reduces risk.
Mandatory HIV testing doesn’t protect people; it drives stigma, and pushes folks away from care. Trusted public health only needs access and to be safe, not coercion.
whores supporting whores is actually the most stable economic model i’ve ever seen
Had a great Easter Monday giving away all of these goodies on Montreal road ❤️ We love giving back to our communities as much as possible
Autonomy isn’t controversial unless you think you own people. Your lack of approval doesn’t negate someone else’s consent.
Sex work isn’t rare. It isn’t some extreme, fringe path taken only by a specific “type” of person. It’s something everyday people turn to when it makes sense for them be it financially, or personally or even as a career move. You very likely know and love a SWer.
SOLACE has officially begun its first workplace investigations. If you're in Ontario and experienced workplace harm in the adult industry, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Submit a complaint via the SOLACE page on our website and we will help you as best we can. ❤️
If you’re a SWer in Ottawa, ON and are struggling with being gatekept from local resources, PLEASE reach out to us. We can help you get access to local blacklists, incall access, safer sex and basic need supplies, educational workshops, and more.
Sex workers must be the voices of their own movements. Not spoken over. We speak for ourselves.
Autonomy means the right to choose- including the right to decide when and how labour is compensated.
