Weekly Movie: MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE (2026): Awesome! Just awesome! Think of it as a modern version of the 80’s FLASH GORDON flick. It’s big, brash, fun, colorful & campy, it’s even got a Queen needle drop! it’s such an awesome homage to the classic cartoon & it’s a great time at the movies!
Weekly Movie: THE ODYSSEY (2026): It’s an epic masterpiece & I absolutely loved it. It’s 3-hours of pure awesomeness: the performances, the direction, the visuals, the FX, the score, the choices, the dog, it all works. Another thumbs up for Christoper Nolan & I will see it again in theaters! Wow!
Weekly Movie: THE TOXIC AVENGER (2023): Saw the old school flick, read the comics & now saw the remake! First off, Kevin Bacon, Elijah Wood & Peter Dinklage? That’s one hell of a cast! It's also a gory, funny, & action-filled update that blends the original's spirit with a modern take, it works!
Weekly Movie: SEND HELP (2026): Love him or not, Sam Raimi always delivers and Rachel McAdams absolutely crushes in this darkly comedic yet intense flick about survival, male toxicity & deep psychosis. Really enjoyable with a great slow boil and let’s be honest, I love me a solid Raimi flick!
Weekly Movie: 28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE (2026): Wow! Ralph Fiennes absolutely owns in this flick! Anytime Fiennes’ mad, Duran Duran-loving, doctor was on screen I was captivated. I’m really enjoying these 28 YEARS LATER films, especially this entry and I hope they make a third!
Weekly Movie: SUPERGIRL (2026): I don’t understand where all the haterade for this film is coming from, is it amazing? No but is it hella fun? Yes! Milly Alcock is great as the hero & Jason Momoa is a blast as Lobo. Still love that dog Krypto too! Hella fun indeed!
Weekly Movie: JACK RYAN: GHOST WAR (2026): The Amazon Series is back & like THE MANDOLORIAN, they opted for a movie rather than another season. The big difference is this one definitely moved the overall story/mythos forward and I am here for it. I really want to see where they go with this one!
Weekly Movie: TAKEN (2008): Revisiting a classic! Liam Neeson absolutely dominates as he hunts for his missing daughter in the streets of Paris & kicks serious ass all along the way. Still loads of fun! Still tons of action! Still a great flick!
Weekly Movie: STAR WARS: THE MANDOLORIAN & GROGU (2026): I dont understand the hate, it’s a fun movie. My one issue is that the film doesn’t move the overall mythos forward, we don’t learn anything new about Grogu or Din, it’s more of a self contained adventure. Still liked it! Summer fun for sure!
