The Trump administration has admitted to canceling $7.6 billion in clean energy grants to blue states for political reasons.

Almost every day, Americans see a new atrocity coming out of the Trump Administration’s horrific mass deportation agenda. This is not who we are as a country, and we’ve had enough of the cruelty and lawlessness.

This is exactly why I wrote legislation to cut taxes for working Americans through the earned-income tax credit. With costs soaring all around us, I’m focused on making life more affordable for Nevada families.

Two bills I wrote are now law as part of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act: one to reauthorize, reform, and expand the HOME program that helps build affordable homes across the country, and another to invest in our manufactured home communities.

It’s a dry heat – but it’s still dangerous, especially for construction workers, farm workers, and others working outside. These workers should be able to count on common sense protections like paid breaks in cooled spaces and adequate access to water, so I introduced a bill to make it the law.
