Allowing prediction markets on wildfires is outrageously dangerous and will incentivize bad actors to spread or even start fires themselves. Frankly, this is betting on the suffering of our neighbors and families. I’m demanding the CFTC crack down on this practice before innocent families get hurt.

Recently, I re-introduced the Jimmy Deal Trafficking Survivors Assistance Act to keep up the fight to protect survivors across the country. Jimmy Deal was a dear friend of mine, and his work to ensure victims of human trafficking could escape their captors saved lives. (1/2)

Our immigration system isn’t working, and we can’t keep kicking the can down the road. I’m fighting for common sense solutions that will help bring immigrant families who have built a life in this country out of the shadows, so they can continue to give back to our communities and live in safety.

Senate Republicans handed Trump’s ICE billions of dollars more without any guardrails to protect our rights and freedoms. I stood against that slush fund, and I will continue to fight to hold this administration accountable for the harm their policies are doing to our country.

The Trump Administration punished Americans for how they voted in 2024 by canceling energy projects in states that didn’t vote for Donald Trump. That should be outrageous to anyone who believes in our democracy, and I am demanding these cuts be reversed immediately.

The Trump administration has admitted to canceling $7.6 billion in clean energy grants to blue states for political reasons.

Hardworking immigrant families have spent too long waiting for action from Congress to help them come out of the shadows and continue contributing to our communities. (1/2)

@cortezmasto.senate.gov has long fought for immigration reform that serves the national interest. Hear from her on the urgent need for accountability and commonsense immigration policies at our event with @americasvoice.bsky.social this Wednesday, July 29. https://ampr.gs/4wetrBm

Trump’s tariff taxes are going to raise the cost of building materials for houses, raise grocery costs, and drive even more potential visitors away from our country – hurting workers that count on tourism in states like Nevada. That’s what Donald Trump’s actions mean for us.

Two bills I wrote are now law as part of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act: one to reauthorize, reform, and expand the HOME program that helps build affordable homes across the country, and another to invest in our manufactured home communities.

It’s a dry heat – but it’s still dangerous, especially for construction workers, farm workers, and others working outside. These workers should be able to count on common sense protections like paid breaks in cooled spaces and adequate access to water, so I introduced a bill to make it the law.

Manufactured homes are an affordable, accessible option for tens of thousands of Nevada families to keep a roof over their heads. Thanks to my PRICE program, these Nevadans can access federal resources to replace outdated homes, improve their communities, and upgrade critical infrastructure. (1/2)

I wrote the bill to create commemorative coins for America’s 250th celebration. The intent was to celebrate our country’s history and moments – like the abolitionist movement, the Civil Rights Movement, and Women’s Suffrage – when we fought and achieved a more perfect union together. (1/2)

Trump’s conspiracies about the 2020 election have been disproven over and over again, including by his first administration. The truth is Trump lost in 2020, and he’s afraid his allies are going to lose in November as voters hold them responsible for broken promises.

Donald Trump spread baseless conspiracies tonight that have been either repeatedly debunked or proven by his own administration not to have impacted any election results. Why? To distract from his failed presidency and broken promises. It won’t work. (1/2)
