Donald Trump has repeatedly abused the pardon power to enrich himself and reward his allies. We’ve had enough. I’m introducing a bill with @schiff.senate.gov and @blumenthal.senate.gov to rein in Trump’s corrupt abuses of power and ensure transparency and accountability in the pardon process.

I’m glad the President has his priorities straight.
With prices soaring, I’m working to make sure families in Indian Country have the resources to keep food on the table. tribalbusinessnews.com/sections/foo...
Murray, Cortez Masto reintroduce bill to expand food assistance for tribal households
Sens. Patty Murray and Catherine Cortez Masto have reintroduced legislation that would allow eligible tribal households to receive SNAP and FDPIR benefits in the same month.

Listen to this. Trump’s nominee for Attorney General is going after the right to choose “in every single state.” This is beyond outrageous – he’s committed to attacking women’s basic freedoms even in pro-choice states like Nevada.
Allowing prediction markets on wildfires is outrageously dangerous and will incentivize bad actors to spread or even start fires themselves. Frankly, this is betting on the suffering of our neighbors and families. I’m demanding the CFTC crack down on this practice before innocent families get hurt.
Recently, I re-introduced the Jimmy Deal Trafficking Survivors Assistance Act to keep up the fight to protect survivors across the country. Jimmy Deal was a dear friend of mine, and his work to ensure victims of human trafficking could escape their captors saved lives. (1/2)
Our immigration system isn’t working, and we can’t keep kicking the can down the road. I’m fighting for common sense solutions that will help bring immigrant families who have built a life in this country out of the shadows, so they can continue to give back to our communities and live in safety.
Senate Republicans handed Trump’s ICE billions of dollars more without any guardrails to protect our rights and freedoms. I stood against that slush fund, and I will continue to fight to hold this administration accountable for the harm their policies are doing to our country.
The Trump Administration punished Americans for how they voted in 2024 by canceling energy projects in states that didn’t vote for Donald Trump. That should be outrageous to anyone who believes in our democracy, and I am demanding these cuts be reversed immediately.
The Trump administration has admitted to canceling $7.6 billion in clean energy grants to blue states for political reasons.
Almost every day, Americans see a new atrocity coming out of the Trump Administration’s horrific mass deportation agenda. This is not who we are as a country, and we’ve had enough of the cruelty and lawlessness.
This is exactly why I wrote legislation to cut taxes for working Americans through the earned-income tax credit. With costs soaring all around us, I’m focused on making life more affordable for Nevada families.
My Fairness for Immigrant Families Act will 1) fix broken laws that keep families in limbo; 2) combat notario fraud and other abuses, and 3) build trust in the immigrant community by holding this lawless administration accountable.
It’s not enough to point out Trump’s failures and harmful policies – we need to work together to bring real solutions to the table.
Immigrant families who've lived and worked in America for decades have been left behind by a system that doesn’t make any sense. I wrote the Fairness for Immigrant Families Act to finally address these long-standing issues and help hardworking families achieve the American Dream.
Fixing our broken immigration system isn’t impossible. Here’s how we can start.

Often, people say that immigrants should “get in line” to achieve legal status, but for many immigrants who have lived and worked here for decades, there’s no way to do that because our system isn’t working. (1/2)
Hardworking immigrant families have spent too long waiting for action from Congress to help them come out of the shadows and continue contributing to our communities. (1/2)
@cortezmasto.senate.gov has long fought for immigration reform that serves the national interest. Hear from her on the urgent need for accountability and commonsense immigration policies at our event with @americasvoice.bsky.social this Wednesday, July 29. https://ampr.gs/4wetrBm
Today, I introduced the Fairness for Immigrant Families Act to finally address key issues in our broken immigration system that keep families in the shadows for decades.
Hardworking, law-abiding immigrant families have waited for decades for Congress to finally address immigration reform. We all know the system is broken, and it’s time to fix it. (1/2)
Food costs are soaring all around us, and families are struggling to keep up – especially in Tribal communities. That’s why I introduced legislation with @murray.senate.gov to improve food assistance programs for Tribal families and ensure that they can afford to keep food on the table.
Donald Trump is raking in cash as president while his policies are raising costs on the rest of us.
As a former Scout, I am always excited to welcome Girl Scouts from Nevada to our nation’s capital. I hope you all have a wonderful time and a safe journey back home!
Trump’s tariff taxes are going to raise the cost of building materials for houses, raise grocery costs, and drive even more potential visitors away from our country – hurting workers that count on tourism in states like Nevada. That’s what Donald Trump’s actions mean for us.
Two bills I wrote are now law as part of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act: one to reauthorize, reform, and expand the HOME program that helps build affordable homes across the country, and another to invest in our manufactured home communities.
It’s a dry heat – but it’s still dangerous, especially for construction workers, farm workers, and others working outside. These workers should be able to count on common sense protections like paid breaks in cooled spaces and adequate access to water, so I introduced a bill to make it the law.
Manufactured homes are an affordable, accessible option for tens of thousands of Nevada families to keep a roof over their heads. Thanks to my PRICE program, these Nevadans can access federal resources to replace outdated homes, improve their communities, and upgrade critical infrastructure. (1/2)
I wrote the bill to create commemorative coins for America’s 250th celebration. The intent was to celebrate our country’s history and moments – like the abolitionist movement, the Civil Rights Movement, and Women’s Suffrage – when we fought and achieved a more perfect union together. (1/2)
I fought to put a stop to Wall Street buying up Nevadans homes, and we got it passed into law.
Trump’s conspiracies about the 2020 election have been disproven over and over again, including by his first administration. The truth is Trump lost in 2020, and he’s afraid his allies are going to lose in November as voters hold them responsible for broken promises.
Listen to what Trump is saying about mail-in voting and then think about this: he voted in the last election by mail. Mail voting is safe and secure, even Donald Trump knows. He’s lying about this so he can take control of our elections and avoid accountability for his failures as president.
Trump calls to end mail-in voting (He just voted by mail in the last election)
Donald Trump spread baseless conspiracies tonight that have been either repeatedly debunked or proven by his own administration not to have impacted any election results. Why? To distract from his failed presidency and broken promises. It won’t work. (1/2)
